Escape from Alcatraz 2011

The mystique. The legend. The challenge that is the Escape from Alcatraz triathlon. Five ONE members braved the 1.5-mile swim through frigid waters from Alcatraz Island to the shores of the St. Francis Yacht Club, followed by the hills and turns of a grueling 18-mile bike ride, and topped off by a demanding 8-mile run (can you say staircase?) through the trails of the Golden Gate Recreational Area.
